All proceeds from this special night go directly to Mike Armstrong — everyone’s favorite cop-turned-comic, who’s brought us endless joy and now needs our support. Come show Mike that his community is right behind him while enjoying an evening of side-splitting comedy from some of the best in the game.

Special Event: Midwest Competition Finale

After a season of laughter-packed preliminary rounds, the Midwest Comedy Competition Finale is ready to light up the stage on Thursday, September 19th! We’re bringing the best from across Illinois to battle it out for the coveted BS Title of Best in the Midwest. Representing Peoria are the hilarious Pat Clark, Bob Kelly, Mark Anthony, and Edgar Sandoval. Bloomington’s pride, John Mark, is bringing the heat, while Quincy’s own Matt Miller is ready to bring the laughs. And don’t sleep on Chatham’s hometown favorite, the unstoppable Ainslie Wilson!

Each finalist gets 13 minutes to win over the crowd and the judges in a comedy free-for-all where every punchline counts. And here’s the kicker—the winner takes home a feature spot in the 3rd Friday Winter Comedy Series, cementing their place as one of the Midwest’s finest.

From October through February, the 3rd Friday Comedy Series delivers a fresh lineup of headliners guaranteed to keep the winter blues at bay.

We’re kicking things off with a mind-bending hypnosis show, then rolling straight into Ladies Night with the hilarious Leslie Mitchell.
